Its a Brave New World out there folks. People all over the place are trying to pick their way through the murk of the postmodern stupid, trying to find that something to cling to that will make everything that little bit easier to cope. Really it's no fault of the people that they're directionless, fumbling, and hoping for the best. After all, we live in a society dumbed down by television, the new religion, the opiate of the masses. A society where wealth and beauty are praised as godliness and the accepted standard as to how we live our lives is shovelled into us by MTV and the great mass media monster. We settle for mediocrity and alternately praise and scorn the people who escape the mire of the dumb through the power of the same. We place upon a pedestal those who embody the life we want to live and we stand dribbling over magazine covers and music videos in a twisted mix of awe and envy, a "one day that could be me" visage plastered across our stupid grinning faces. No, it's not just you who is pissed off that you've been lied to about what life was going to be like, told and sold a million pretty things that built the foundations of your truth only to sit like an itch in the middle of your back and leave you grappling with the weight of your inadequacy.
This is not help at hand, not a manifesto, nor a call to arms.
It will not solve the woes of the woeful west, undo the done, nor redo the undone.
It won't ease the burden of the average, open doors to the extraordinary, or give you the life you believe you deserve.
But it may, just perhaps, help you pick your way through the mire of this modern day existence.

Stupid

Welcome to the Postmodern Stupid.
...
If you care to take a look around you will see a series of rants, raves, insights, hindsights, handles flown off, jumped-to conclusions, flogged horses, and other railings against the established, ubiquitous idiocracy. Upcoming will also be photographic serieseses, culture jamming, various bits and bobs of propaganda, flopaganda, desconstructions of the marketing/advertising behemoth, video, audio, and whatever the hell else seems like a good idea at the time. There are also mixtapes and live sets from this postmodern cynic, known as The Theory that you would do well to check out. Hop in.
